1. Turmeric-Ginger Anti-Inflammatory Drink (Green Liquid Gold)

Ingredients (makes ~2 liters):

  • 1 large cucumber
  • 4-5 celery stalks
  • 2 green apples (for sweetness)
  • 2 inches fresh turmeric root (or 2 tsp turmeric powder)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley or cilantro
  • 3-4 cups filtered water

Instructions:

  1. Wash all ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Chop cucumber, celery, apples, turmeric, and ginger into chunks.
  3. Place everything into a high-speed blender with 3 cups of water.
