Korean Garlic Cream Cheese Bread meets Japanese Tamago Sando Recipe


For the Korean Garlic Cream Cheese Bread:

For the Cream Cheese Filling:

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Bread:

  • 4 pieces of thick slices of bread (brioche or white bread)

For the Japanese Tamago Sando:

For the Tamago (Japanese Omelette):

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

For the Tamago Sando:

  • 8 slices of Japanese milk bread
  • Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise
  • Optional: Nori strips for garnish
