  • Eggs: 2, room temperature
  • Butter: 1/3 cup, melted
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • All-purpose flour: 4 to 4 1/2 cups

For the Filling:

  • Bananas: 3 medium, sliced
  • Butter: 1/4 cup
  • Brown sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon: 2 tablespoons
  • Nutmeg: 1/2 teaspoon, optional for extra spice

For the Glaze (optional):

  • Powdered sugar: 1 cup
  • Milk or cream: 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
